Chop Chop, nestled within the Hippodrome Casino on Cranbourn Street in London, is a culinary oasis worth seeking out. Many patrons describe it as a "hidden gem," often comparing its exceptional offerings favorably to the renowned Four Seasons restaurants in Chinatown. At Chop Chop, the focus is on authentic Cantonese dishes that are as fragrant as they are flavorful. Customer reviews highlight standouts such as the crispy duck and the braised aubergine, with diners raving about the quality and freshness of ingredients. The attentive and friendly staff elevate the experience further—servers like Rita and Kristo have earned accolades for their remarkable recommendations and warm service, ensuring that each guest feels special. Ari’s experience perfectly encapsulates the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere, even amidst the bustling casino setting. Reviewers often mention the quick service and the intimate vibe that allows for a relaxing dinner away from the chaos outside. With menu options ranging from delectable pork and prawn wontons to lavish lobster, diners consistently express a desire to return. Overall, Chop Chop is a must-visit destination for those in search of exquisite Chinese dining, where each dish tells a story of tradition and taste.

Chop Chop is a hidden gem within the casino and, in my opinion, serves even better food than the other Four Seasons restaurants in Chinatown. The quality is outstanding—fresh, well-prepared, and packed with rich flavours. A must-visit for those who appreciate top-tier dining in a more exclusive setting! My recommendation food to order Roast duck Stir fried morning glory sweet sour pork

Everything was amazing. The manager was so lovely, he comped the dessert because it was my friends birthday and the staff sang happy birthday. It was so lovely. I will be back very soon !!

Delicious Cantonese dishes full of aroma and good flavour. Lovely customer service with attentive service from Kristo and food served quickly. I had a wonderful time with my friend and they do not rush you albeit busy on a Friday night.

We had a delicious meal for my birthday! It was wonderful. Rita was a lovely waitress who gave us fantastic recommendations on the menu and was very attentive and kind. We enjoyed everything we ate! Delicious and definitely recommend coming here for a lovely meal. Even though the casino itself is quite busy, the restaurant has a wonderful chilled vibe and you feel removed from all the noise just outside. William welcomed us very nicely and he really looked after us and was able to give special attention to every guest. What a great team!! We’ll be back by God’s grace!

Hidden gem! An excellent restaurant right in the heart of Leicester square , but really hidden inside the hippodrome casino . When you enter the hippodrome, head to the left and down the stairs . Note that as this is inside a casino only adults of age can come. The service was excellent with the staff getting a seat for us quickly. Drinks were prompt to arrive as the kitchen is also extremely fast . I think only a few minutes had past after we ordered and the food had arrived. It looked and smelled good, but it tasted even better. The duck was moist, crispy and bd the crispy pork belly has been one of the best I’ve had to date. Very tender pork with a very crispy skin. There was lots of wok hei in the noodle dish and was equally as delicious. Highly recommended and would go back again.

I was invited to try the food here and really enjoyed everything, dishes were authentic and the whole place really brought me back to Hong Kong. The roast meats are a must as well as the garlic tiger prawns. What I loved the most however was the service. I received this myself but watched the team professionally deal with a difficult customer the entire time I was there. The staff were very patient with her despite her unreasonable complaints and requests yet she still asked for the service charge to be removed at the end of the meal. Overall I had a super positive experience here. I am not obligated to post this review in exchange for the collaboration but I genuinely wanted to flag the quality of their service.

Could easily pass for best Chinese I ever had. Great quality food and very tasty. Perfect place for late night diners. Located inside the hippodrome, lower ground floor. Atmosphere is giving Hong Kong. Also has a beautiful top floor restaurant for cocktail lovers. Definitely recommend.

My favorite Chinese food, literally. Food is flavorful and authentic. Whether you're ordering Malaysian thin noodles, HK fat beef noodles, it's perfectly seasoned. Their BBQ pork is sweet and tangy -- it's a personal favorite. As for the service - orders are efficient but still very friendly. I've been there a a few times and the wait staff recalls faces and is very welcoming. William (manager) is attentive and makes a point to go to tables and check on them. Wait staff is fun, polite and also very efficient; food arrives quickly, correctly and with a friendly smile. Whenever I'm in London and in Soho this is a must go-to spot.
